How affiliate links work

Some links to retailers may be affiliate links. If you follow one and make a qualifying purchase, Gamer Tested may receive a commission from the retailer. The price you pay is not increased because you used the link.

What commissions cannot influence

Affiliate availability does not determine which products are tested, the results of a test, the score, the language of a verdict, or whether a product is recommended. Editorial work is completed independently from commercial optimization.

Price and availability

Retail prices and inventory change frequently. A displayed price should be treated as a snapshot, and the retailer's checkout page is authoritative. We may update buying links when a retailer changes availability.

Games and qualifying actions

An affiliate relationship may involve a free registration, install, purchase, or another action defined by the partner. A commission does not mean a game is free of optional purchases, advertising, subscriptions, or time-gated progression. Those tradeoffs remain part of the editorial assessment.

Link labels

Articles containing an active affiliate link display a concise disclosure near the beginning of the page. Buttons that only open another Gamer Tested guide are ordinary editorial links. Campaign availability and eligibility can vary by country, device, and partner rules.

Current local-build status

The local site is prepared for affiliate campaigns, but no public tracking URL is embedded in the repository. Campaign links should be added only after their allowed traffic sources, target countries, creative permissions, and conversion conditions have been confirmed.
